Indosuez Wealth Management, the global wealth management brand of Crédit Agricole Group, has appointed Ong Yeng Fang as its Southeast Asia global market head and Rosemarie Chong as its UHNWI and wealth partnership market head at its Singapore branch.
The establishment of two new market segments, complemented by the appointment of these two senior wealth management bankers to lead them, Indosuez says, affirms its growing presence in Asia.
Ong is a well-rounded business leader with regional experience in wealth management, business development, corporate and strategic planning. Prior to joining Indosuez, she held the role of managing director and head of UOB Private Bank for a period of eight years.
Chong heads the newly-established ultra-high-net-worth-individual ( HNWI ) and wealth partnership team in partnership with Edward Hsu, managing director at Indosuez, Singapore. An experienced wealth management leader, she has been playing a vital role in Indosuez since she joined the bank at end-2006. Before Indosuez, she was managing director of BCV Investment Asia, a Singapore-based Swiss fund management institution with core businesses in private wealth and asset management.
“As Indosuez deepens its presence in Asia, the appointment of Ong and Chong will add value to our capabilities as leaders in the wealth management industry and bolster our portfolios,” says Omar Shokur, chief executive officer, Asia and branch manager, Singapore, Indosuez. “With their rich experience in the region, we are confident they will serve our clients with exceptional quality.”
