Deutsche Bank has appointed Amanda Chen as head of securities services for Taiwan, effective immediately.
Chen has responsibility over the securities services business and operations in the local market, and will focus on driving the local growth strategy, expanding client relationships and further deepening engagement with regulators. She will report to Tony Chao, head of securities services for North Asia.
Chen is a 25-year financial services veteran, with significant experience on both the buyside and the sellside. Most recently, she was chief operating officer for Taiwan at Eastspring Asset Management. She was previously head of operations at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in Taiwan and mainland China and has been in senior operations roles at Schroders Asset Management, UBS Securities, BNP Securities and Macquarie Securities, all based in Taiwan.
